Flemingsberg Science is a neutral actor in the regional development of southern Stockholm, with a mandate to promote and spearhead the development of knowledge-intensive activities in Flemingsberg.

The foundation was established in 2011 with the mission of fostering collaboration between academia, the business sector, and society in Flemingsberg. The foundation is backed by Region Stockholm, Huddinge Municipality, Botkyrka Municipality, Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Södertörn University, and the Swedish Red Cross University.
